Purwaceng dieng asli | Produsen minuman purwaceng dieng
The Dieng Plateau in Central Java is renowned for its diverse natural attractions, cultural experiences, and unique culinary delights, making it an ideal destination for tourists and business travellers alike. Furthermore, the highlands are home to a variety of endemic mountain plants, including Purwaceng, which has been officially recognised as an Indonesian Geographical Indication.
Purwaceng (Pimpinella pruatjan) is a species that flourishes at altitudes above 2000 meters above sea level on the Dieng Plateau. This low-growing plant features small, green leaves with serrated edges, measuring between 1 and 3 cm in diameter. The colour of the stems can vary from reddish-brown to green, depending on the variety. Purwaceng has a taproot resembling ginseng that grows larger over time, earning it the nickname "Javanese ginseng".
Dieng farmers employ traditional cultivation techniques for Purwaceng, including manual seed sowing and transplanting seedlings to agricultural land. The plants are harvested after a period of 8-12 months.
Purwaceng is commonly used to maintain overall health and boost the immune system. Containing steroids, essential oils, furanocoumarins, and vitamins, this herb is believed to help prevent cancer, act as a diuretic, improve blood circulation, and enhance fertility by increasing testosterone levels in men and estrogen levels in women.
Since 2009, Rumah Purwaceng Albain has been producing powdered beverages made from Dieng Purwaceng, which are combined with authentic Indonesian spices and herbs to create a unique and distinctive product. Since 2009, Albain Purwaceng drinks have been marketed under the brand name "ALBAIN", which is an acronym for "Alkautsar Herba Indonesia". They are made using premium quality ingredients sourced from the best spice and herbal farmers in Indonesia.
Mr Syarif has been engaged in the cultivation of purwoceng since 2005. Initially, Mr Syarif's interest in farming purwoceng was driven by his concern for the plant. The limited number of farmers who are willing to cultivate purwoceng makes it a rare specialty crop, particularly given that purwoceng can only thrive in the natural environment of the Dieng mountains.
Mr Syarif's primary objective is to foster the growth of a larger purwoceng farming community and to encourage local governments to prioritize the welfare of purwoceng farmers. This will ensure the long-term sustainability of the plant and prevent its extinction.
Dieng's signature Purwaceng drink is conveniently packaged in a box of 3 sachets. Each box contains 1 sachet of coffee, ginseng, and purwaceng jahe ros variants. The Travel Pack represents an excellent value for customers, offering a more affordable price and complete contents.
